Listen: Cher “You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me”

Though Christina is about to make her acting debut in Burlesque, we cannot forget about her incredible co-star, Cher.  Cher has been around a long time, in the music biz and the movies - hell, she even won an Oscar for her acting ability in Moonstruck.  In classic Cher style, she gives us a big voice ballad with You Haven’t Seen the Last of Me.  And with a new album right around the corner (she’s in the studio now), it’s quite clear that we really haven’t seen the last of this 64 year old gay icon.  What do you think of her solo?  Is Cher turnin’ back time?

Video Premiere: Christina Aguilera “I’m A Good Girl”

It’s nice to know that despite all of the drama and the bomb sales on her previous album, Christina Aguilera is moving forward with life and her music.  From her upcoming movie Burlesque, here’s the new video for I’m A Good Girl.

If she could turn back tiiiiooommmeee

The true Diva is back.  After a 10 year hiatus from producing new music, Cher is back in the studio working on her next creation.  She has been telling reporters that though it won’t be a dance album (such as her “Believe”) but will be taking her back to her roots of rock.  Think if “If I Could Turn Back Time.”  She’s also said to be working with the great ballad songstress, Diane Warren.  She’s said to be in the beginning stages of production, so it could be the end of this year before we hear anything leak.  She does have two songs on the upcoming “Burlesque” movie, co-starring Christina Aguilera.

This could either be a total bomb or a big hit.  Are you excited for Cher’s next musical endeavor?

This is awfully familiar

The trailer for Christina Aguilera’s first major film Nine Burlesque has been released today.  And it needs to go back to the vault!  Xtina, you’re really letting us down.  Failed album, and now this?  I had much higher hopes.  The dialogue, plot and climax are all too predictable.  Connie & Carla had a more interesting plot than this!  Bionic (great album in my opinion, despite critics hated it).  It’s time that you fire your PR team.  They suck!  Burlesque (ugh).  Fail.

Gotta wait until November

That’s when Cher & Christina Aguilera will premiere their staring roles in the movie “Burlesque.” There’s lots of hype already behind this movie - let’s hope the hype doesn’t outweigh the actual movie, as it did for Christina’s latest album, Bionic. Poor Christina, everyone wants good things for her- let’s hope her third single does better!
