Actually, it’s that other bitch in the club corner over there. Yeah you - you’re a hot mess! Recently leaked, Hot Mess is a catchy dance jam, dark pop, with some creative dirrty lyrics, something Ke$ha would spew out. A highlight is “bending over for the world to see your coin slot.” That really makes me giggle. It’s sure to give anyone another reason to fall in love with Natalia and a new reason to dance. I feel as though this is Kills’ U Should Know Better public service announcement. This is the second version we’ve heard of Hot Mess. We’re not surprised Kills had this one redone - she is after all, a Perfectionist. I love love love that she sings a few lines from another one of my favorite Kills’ song, Free. (i look fresh in a potato sack!)
Listen & Download: Patrick Stump “Spotlight” (2 versions)
Name ring a bell? No? Oh come on… Patrick Stump! The former lead singer to the ever so popular Fall Out Boy, Stump has two versions of his first single Spotlight, and he wants his fans to choose which one to release. His Oh Nostalgia version is in true Fall Out Boy form (and to me, more friendly for radio play & Wonky Pop’s vote). I’m assuming New Regrets is the direction Stump has headed with his first solo project- a bit more electronic, more dance-driven. You know, more of a Postal Servicemeets Keshakinda sound. I’d go for the New Regrets version myself, but it seems like it needs a bit more umpf. (Maybe crank up that bass a bit!) Which version do you prefer? Vote here and help Stump decide.DOWNLOAD both versions here.
By far my favorite track Kesha has ever released, Animal still follows suit to her previous dance hits, but is a more powerful house anthem and less of a club banger. One of the best videos she has released to date. Check it out below!
Only a genius mashup DJ could combine the following: Kesha, Nirvana, Far East Movement and Britney Spears. Titus Jones is a resident of Nashville, TN and one helluva mashup DJ. Not only does he create amazing mixes via audio, he even mashes the videos together, sure to impress anyone with a set of eyes. This is sure to quench your thirst!
I’ve gotta say, this is one of the best club banger songs Kesha has ever released. Dropping on iTunes next week, Blow is an explosive dance track that is bound to get her listeners sweaty from all the bumpin’ and grindin’ — just what she wants from her fans. Perfect jam for the weekend! What do you think of Kesha’s latest?
If you haven’t heard the news, Kesha just scored her fifth top 10 single on the Billboards and there’s no stopping here yet! She’s just hit us us with another amazing club banger song. Cannibal is the title track to her upcoming album dropping on November 22nd and is definitely a continuation of Animal. Get in touch with your wild side - give it a listen below!
I love Ke$ha more and more. The beat on this song is not like the rest of her top hits - it’s a bit more reminiscent of M.I.A. But it’s still a hot track nonetheless- and you just gotta listen to the lyrics. Sleazy will be on her upcoming release of Cannibal (November 22), the continuation of her first album Animal. The subtle sounds of the bells in the background make me wonder, is this her contribution to Christmas music? Kesha is who she is. Lyric highlights are:
I don’t need you Or your brand new Benz Or your boughie friends I don’t need love looking like diamonds Looking like diamonds
Me and all my friends we don’t buy bottles we bring ‘em We take the drinks from the table when you get up and leave ‘em
Kesha’s We R Who We R is already getting a lot of buzz. And one of our favorite DJ’s, Liam Keegan, is at it again with this dance floor pounding remix. Sure it’s only Tuesday, but why wait until the weekend to get your groove on? Download it below.
Tonight we’re going hard just like the world is ours we’re tearing it apart you know we’re superstars we r who we r
The Tik Tok rockstar is back at it with a new song - We R Who We R. It’s the latest single from her new album Cannibal, coming out on November 22nd. Though the song isn’t as dance driven as her previous singles, Kesha herself admits that the song is simply about dancing the night away, embracing who you are, with all of your quirks and eccentricities. Kesha has said she felt inspired due to the recent rash of many gay youth suicides. She just wanted to inspire people to be themselves. For all those Kesha haters out there, move on out. She’s got nothing but love for this world.
