This amazingly talented singer-songwriter from England is only 15 years old and already wowing critics and audiences across the globe. She’s got one of those ‘old-soul voices’ that will have your heart melting and tears falling from your eyes. Her first self-titled debut album was just released on November 4, 2011. It’s absolutely brilliant!

Totally loving this duo from the UK, Paper Aeroplanes. Usually Thirsty Thursdays are dance music days, but for some reason, I’m in a mellow mood today. I happened to re-introduce myself to these guys while Shuffling my iTunes today. There’s nothing more satisfying than finding ‘new music’ in your own library. Songs that really hit home are Save It, Days We Made and the beautiful video above for Safe Hands. This girl’s voice is a tiny piece of Heaven.

Getting through a Tuesday is so much easier… especially with this delightful remix of White Town’s “Your Woman” by British rapper Wiley ft. Emeli Sande’. Let the 90s live on.

Obsession of the week: Emeli Sande´ - new singer from the UK. She’s a true combination of the soul of Jill Scott, the smoothness of Leona Lewis (who she is writing songs for her next album) and the rawness & honesty of Adele. Truly talented. I’ve got Heaven (available on iTunes) & Easier In Bed (demo) on repeat currently, but her song Maybe is a true testament of her beautiful vocals and intense soul and transparency. It’s rumored that Easier In Bed was written for Christina Aguilera’s next album, most likely to drop sometime in 2012. Emeli’s first studio album, Our Version of Events, is anticipated to be released sometime in November of this year.

Leona Lewis looks beautiful in her newest single, Collide. Absolutely obsessing over this song right now - so great to run to! Great motivation for a Monday.

Nothing like an inspirational pop dance song to get your mood up and brighten your day. Remember Dirty Vegas? I first fell in love with these guys when I heard Days Go By during the Mitsubishi commercials of the early 2000’s… I even bought a Lancer (what a piece of shit that was!) - talk about excellent target marketing! The British Duo have just released their third studio album, Electric Love, and well, I’m lovin’ it. It’s got a feel-good electro-old-school vibe throughout, but with a lot more pop & soft rock vocals. It’s really the perfect blend of sleepy soft rock music, shaken up by a few synth beats. Perfect motivation on this Tuesday, only the second day of the work week (boo). Take a listen to Today, one of my favorite tracks on the album.

The more Clare Maguire puts out there, the more I fall in love with her. Her latest video for The Shield & The Sword is awesome. Love the subtle changes in costumes and wigs - nice accessories, even without an egg or “pod.” *Cough Cough Gaga Cough*
