Regardless of what any critic or fan says, Jennifer Hudson was the right choice for Whitney’s tribute at the Grammys.

A friend of mine informed me of another time Jennifer Hudson sang the Dolly Parton written I Will Always Love You, back in 2010 BET Awards honoring the great Ms. Houston.  This is what we could have heard last night, had the producers of the Grammys not given Chris Brown two slots in the lineup.  Clearly by the interaction of the two in this video, Jennifer had Whitney’s approval to tribute her.

Whitney, we love you.

And the performance of the night goes to….. Jennifer Hudson.  Simply perfect.

Gavin Beach never ceases to amaze me.  His latest video, a cover of Whitney Houston’s I Look To You even puts Whitney to shame (especially if you’ve heard her at all since her comeback).  

Interpretive dancing at its best yet.  I just have one question: is that a husband and wife or a old gay man and his f*g hag?
